Cola Black Tea made into a Tea Syrup & mixed with bubbly water makes an amazing homemade cola!

Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp of Sipology Tea - any flavour!
• 2 cups of water
• 1 1/2 cups of sugar
Directions:
Which tea you pick will decide the water temperature & steeping time. See the notes at the end of this recipe for the different water temperatures and steeping times for the different types of tea.
1. Steep the tea you have chosen in a pot with 2 cups of water for the recommended temperature & time.
2. Remove the tea & bring the infused water to a boil on the stovetop.
3. Once boiling add the sugar & stir until it has dissolved. Remove from heat & let it cool.
4. Store in the Brew n' Serve Bottles in your fridge. The recommending time for storage is 1 month. But it can last longer depending on your fridge. however, I find it's so tasty it doesn't last very long before I drink it all!
5. Add 1oz (or to taste) to carbonated water, coffee, lattes & tea. This recipe makes 16 servings.
My favourite teas to make this way are our soda teas, like the Cola Black Tea in the photo, and the Creamy Root Beer Green Tea. Then I can have soda at home that has 2/3 less sugar than regular soda! You can also make Italian sodas, which are great with our fruit teas. Or make a tea syrup to give your coffee a fancy flare, like Cinnamon Bun! It's a lot healthier than store-bought sugar syrups, plus you get the health benefits from the tea!
Brewing Times & Temperatures:
